Kelley is the founding owner and President of Moulton Insurance Group. Since opening her first of many offices in the nineties, Kelley’s focus has remained on creating a welcoming environment where access to sound insurance advice and affordable coverage is made available to everyone. Decades later, she continues to nurture and grow the exceptionally qualified team of agents she’s attracted over the years to support this endeavor. Prior to taking the entrepreneurial path, Kelley earned her business degree from the College of Charleston where she also played for the women’s golf team. Her strong spirit and huge heart for protecting others combined with a natural knack for navigating numbers and product complexities led Kelley to the insurance field and continues to fuel her as the decades pass and markets evolve. On a personal note, Kelley is big on family and has an undeniable soft spot for kittens, as evidenced by her revolving open-door policy for fosters in need of a temporary home! Outside of the agencies, Kelley enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, boating, playing golf, reading, and watching football. She also supports RAIN, a non-profit focused on helping the community live fully, with or without HIV, in addition to the Hope and Love Foundation whose mission is to love, serve, and inspire hope in others who are battling cancer.

Kathy joined Moulton Insurance Group in 2018 after serving extensively as an executive in the technology and banking sectors for well-known, global brands. Having spent many years in the corporate world, she of course embraces a team-oriented approach and is always willing to assist with whatever else is needed within the agency outside of her primary role as Chief Financial Officer. Kathy’s calm demeanor, noteworthy critical thinking skills, and big-picture mindset certainly serve the Moulton Group well, especially considering our current operational footprint and plans for continued growth. When asked what she enjoys most about working with the agency, it’s no surprise that Kathy points to the staff, customers, and vendors she has the pleasure of working alongside each day. Prior to joining the agency, Kathy earned an accounting degree from Meredith College, followed by a successful career in technology involving everything from implementation-to-system integrations-to-sales and consulting. She also worked with Bank of America where she focused on technology, global delivery, and risk operations. On a personal note, Kathy is married with one son. When she isn’t in the office, Kathy loves to travel and spend time outside with friends and family.

Kirsten joined the Moulton Group in November of 2011 and helps keep everything running as smoothly as possible in our agency! She enjoys working alongside leadership to align the team’s efforts and support a strong and efficient agency. Kirsten holds Property and Casualty licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and West Virginia. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State Behrend. In her free time, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her three children. Susan is a proud long-time member of the Fort Mill Rotary Club, having also served as President for the 2016-2017 term. Thomas is a Chicago native and was raised in Charlotte. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science and worked several local not for profit organizations before starting his insurance career almost 20 years ago. He worked for a Nationwide Agent for 11 years before he purchased an Allstate Agency in 2016. He sold the Allstate agency after six years and took some much-needed time off. After returning to the workforce, he came back to doing what he enjoys, building relationships through insurance sales and service. This led him to the Moulton Group.

In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors. His favorite activities include listening to live music, camping, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycles and exploring our lovely country in his SUV. He built a platform in the back of his SUV and can remove it and reinstall it any time he wants to get away for a few days. In the fall he finds himself at Carolina Panthers Games with his family. Each spring he usually takes a weeklong motorcycle trip with his dad and in the summers, he tries to get away to the beach as often as possible.
